Accra, April 20, GNA - Mr Kwame Ntow-Fiako (not Fianko), Vice Chairman of the Division One League (DOL) Board has filed his nominations to contest for a place in the impending elections for the Executive Board of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) scheduled for April 27.

The slot is to elect one person to represent the division one clubs on the Executive Board of GHALCA.

Mr Ntow-Fiako who disclosed this to the GNA Sports in an interview said after serving on the board for more than ten years it is now time for him to get onto the board of GHALCA to continue with his campaign for support for the division one clubs.

"Having served on the DOL Board for so many years it has given me an in-depth knowledge about the problems facing division one clubs in the country, I am therefore the right man to serve the interest of the clubs on the board" Mr Ntow-Fiako stated.

According to Mr Ntow-Fiako he is more than competent to handle the position, adding, that with the division one league as the "baby" of GHALCA, he would ensure that the association pays more attention and finding solution to their problems.

He therefore called on all eligible voters to vote massively for him in the coming elections.

Information gathered by the GNA Sports indicates that Mr Maxwell Sarfo, Chairman of Suhum Maxbees Football Club has also filed his nomination to contest for the same position.
