Accra, April 3, GNA - Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) has conducted the first out of three draws of its promotional campaign to select ten winners to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The draw, which was conducted in partnership with the National Lottery Association (NLA), saw the selection ten lucky winners from the various regions.
The lucky winners will be on an all expenses trip to Brazil to support the Black Stars during the World Cup.
The winners include; George Danso, Robert Tetteh Odidja, Samuel Lawerh Kabutey, Kofi Osei- Afoakwa, Stephen Baffoe, Zoogah Yin-Anaab Muk.
Also included in the list of the ten winners were; Ben Anaba Moscoh, Agyei Kwame, Amponsah Robert, Michael Opoku Afriyie, are customers from Ashaiman Branch, Tarkwa, Jasikan, Trade Fair, Bolgatanga, Nsawam, Nkawie, Winneba and Dormaa Ahenkro branches of the Bank.
The bank will be responsible for their Visas, Tickets, Accommodation, Transportation to and from Brazil and the games as well as meal.
The non-winners of the campaign were awarded consolation prizes, which includes LED TV sets, replica jerseys and branded footballs, among other things.
Kojo Addae-Mensah, the Chief Operating Officer of the Bank, pointed out that, the campaign dubbed GCB 30 to Brazil promotion is aimed at sending Ghanaians to Brazil to support the national team and increase the support base for the team.
The promotion will increase the support base of the players of the Black Stars in Brazil, showcase the potential of Ghana, made in Ghana products and services as well as Ghana as a brand to the world.
"It is also to demonstrate to the rest of Ghana and the world that Ghana is an emerging market with peace and opportunities for investment.
Doris Wunu, Head of Consumer Banking noted that, it is paramount to the bank to reward its customers and urged customers of the Bank to take advantage of the promotion by saving at least GH1,000.00
The second draw of the promotion will be held on May 2 to select another 10 customers while the final draw will be held on June 2, 2014.
