Ghanaian winger Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi allayed his injury fears by starting in Maritzburg United's shocking 3-1 loss to AmaZulu on Friday night.
The 19-year-old was a major doubt for the home game after picking up a knock in a previous win against Free State Stars.
Sarfo Gyamfi however passed a late fitness test to start for the Team of Choice.
The Ghana youth star is returning to his best form is gradually again becoming a key player for the South African club.
He was however unable to weave his magic as his side went down to a shocking 3-1 home loss despite taking the lead in the first half.
The Ghanaian winger was then replaced in the 59 th minute by Zimbabwean Terrence Mandaza but that did little to improve the fortunes of Steve Komphela's side as they ultimately lost the game at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
