Election of GFA's Chairman fixed for April 14

Accra, April 1, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has fixed April 14 as the date for the election of a new Chairman for the association.

The race is a straight two-man contest between Dr N. Nyaho-Tamakloe, a medical practitioner at the Nyaho Clinic and former football administrator and Mr Kofi Amoah of Progency Ventures and Chairman of the 2008 Nations Cup Bid Committee.

The election is to select a new chairman to replace Mr Ben Koufie, immediate past chairman whose term of office ended last December but was given an extension of three months by the Executive Council of the GFA that also came to a close on Wednesday, March 31.
