Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu says his team will mount a challenge http://http://allsports.com.gh/2014/01/05/ghana-coach-konadu-pessimistic-about-chan-chances/ for the CHAN title in South Africa as the Black Stars prepare to face against Congo Brazzavile in Blomfontein on Monday.
The Black Stars of Ghana failed to impress at the last CHAN tournament and are intent on making amends in South Africa,the venue for their disappointing AFCON challenge in 2013.
“Our preparations have gone well so far and in both Namibia and lately in Johannesburg and l am pleased with what l saw in the boys, who are ready to go far in this competition. We certainly want to improve on our last performance at CHAN 2011 in Sudan ” .
While in Namibia, Ghana edged the former 1-0 in a friendly match before The Black Stars trained at Mamelodi Sundown's Chloorkop facilities and managed to beat the a side put together by Mamelodi 3-0 in preparation game.
