CAF Awards 2013: The three finalists revealed!

CAF (Confederation of African Football) released Tuesday the final short-list of three nominees for the title of “Best African Player of the Year' . It is unsurprisingly Yaya Toure , double title holder, his compatriot Didier Drogba and John Obi Mikel of Nigeria.

The three finalists in the category of ” Best African player evolving on the continent” , there are two Egyptians, Ahmed Fathy and Mohamed Aboutrika . The other challenger for the price is no one but the last hero of Afcon final, the Nigerian Sunday Mba .

Winners will be announced Jan. 9 during a colorful gala in Lagos, Nigeria.
