Ex-Kotoko board member Alhaji Abu Lamine has called for patience for under-fire interim chief executive Samuel Opoku Nti.
Nti has come under fire from some fans after he revealed this week players have been unpaid wages for three months.
There are many Kotoko fans who have questioned his competence to lead the Porcupine Warriors to a relative success with calls for his removal growing above the roof top.
But former board member Alhaji Abu Lamine is urging for calm while reposing confidence in the ex-Ghana international.
“Opoku Nti is doing well. We should not over criticize him. He also needs time to adjust and continue his good works,” Lamine said
“He has been given three months mandate and so we should give him room to operate.
“I have no doubt to question his competence. So far he has done well. Let's be patient with him and I believe he will lead us to the promise land.”
The defending League champions will host Liberty Professionals on Saturday.
