Italy U20 coach Luigi di Biagio has penciled down Ghanaian youth international for a call-up, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.

The 19-year-old gifted attacker holds a Ghanaian passport but The Italian Football Federation are working around the clock to get him an Italian passport to enable him play for the European country.

Gyasi, who has made his mark as a prolific goal-getter, was excessively successful with Torino's Primavera side – U20, scoring as many as 20 goals in 18 games and helping his side to kick out Inter Milan from the Youth TIM Cup.

Gyasi signed a four-year-professional-contract with Torino's senior side and the former Italy international has spotted his talent and wants to convince him to play for the Italians.

Torino boss has also confirmed the Italians are working to get an Italian passport for him.
