The Sports Desk of Citi FM are wrapping up preparations for today's Barclays English Premier League live broadcast which will be coming from the Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana.

Hundreds of football fans are expected to be at the Hall, popularly known as Vandal City, for the games between Liverpool and Manchester United as well as the North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham.

The program will be anchored by Gary Al-Smith, host of the EPL Show together with his team of Godfred Akoto-Boafo, Gifty Appiah, Nathan Quao and Reginald Asante.

Sponsors of the show, Samsung and Coca Cola, will be giving goodies to fans in predict-and-win promotions.

Other fun-filled activities are expected.

The games

United head to Merseyside (1230GMT kickoff) on the back of Monday's goalless draw with title rivals Chelsea, the first Old Trafford match of the David Moyes era. That stalemate was preceded by a 4-1 victory over Swansea City and the champions would love to replicate that impressive away performance at Anfield. Although it won't be easy against a Liverpool team that has claimed maximum points thus far from matches with Stoke City and Aston Villa, making them one of just two teams to hold a perfect record in the Barclays Premier League.

For the second game (1400GMT kickoff) Arsenal host Tottenham in the second huge Premier League showdown on Sunday. The rivalry between the two sides has always been intense but, given the recent battle for fourth place, it has stepped up over the last few seasons. With both sides recording victories midweek, they come into this game in decent form.
