President John Agyekum Kufuor has appointed ten persons to the National Sports Council (NSC) with Dr. Henry Augustine Pufaa, Lecturer, University of Education, Winneba as Chairman. A statement singed on Friday by Mr. Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu, Minister of Education and Youth and Sports named other members as Lydia Lariba Bawa, a lawyer, Professor Mrs. Dorcia Fiano, lecturer, University of Ghana, Legon, and Nana Kwasi Gyan III, Ex-Player/Financial Consultant.
The others were Ken Bediako, Journalist, Kwabena Sarpong, Engineer, Ekua Dodoo, Student, the NSC acting Chief Executive, a representative from the Ghana Armed Forces and the Ghana Police Service.
