Ghana midfielder Bennard Kumordzi was in scintillating for KRC Genk in the Uefa Europa League as the Belgians cruised to a 2-0 win over Icelandic side FH Hafnarfjordur FC on Thursday night. 

The 27-year-old lanky midfield fanbelt enjoyed a memorable evening at the Kaplakrikavöllur in the Icelandic capital as he displayed a commanding performance for the visitors.

Kumordzi gagged the space in the middle, cutting off the supplies from the FH midfield to hamper their their progress on the night before 5,600 home fans.

His ingeniousness in the midfield, a quality which allows him to move freely forward to join the attack occasionally and retract to perform his toiletry duties in the midfield to tidy things up.

The former FC Dijon man picked a booking  just first five minutes of the first half and flourished for the rest of the minutes.
