Sports Council directives on parking

Accra, Jan 16, GNA - The National Sports Council (NSC) has directed that all persons especially soccer fans who will patronize activities at the Accra Sports Stadium must endeavor to park their cars at the Independence Square.

A statement signed by Mr. Issaka Hamah Hamid, Public Relations officer of NSC said a task force has been put in place to ensure the success of the directive but cautioned that anyone who flouts the orders will have his car towed away.

A uniform fee of 3,000 cedis per car will be charged.

Meanwhile, the NSC in conjunction with the Ghana Baseball Association and Kaz Tamura of AMSG Limited will organize a special challenge tournament slated for the Chemu Secondary School, Tema, from January 17-20.
