Baba Mensah sticks to Pappoe's 11 shirt

Israeli-based Baba Mensah will use the number 11 shirt that was initially reserved for Daniel Pappoe at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.

The Neve Yosef FC defender is a late addition to the squad after the withdrawal of the Chelsea player, Pappoe on medical grounds.

The Black Satellites withdrew the managed-Pappoe due to his previous injuries which renders him unable to combine the heavy demands of tournament football.

Ghana begin the campaign on Friday against France in Group A. The group also includes USA and Spain at the finals which will be played from June 21-July 13.
