Muntari to face Ghana coach wrath after unacceptable act

Sulley Muntari is in hot water with the Ghana coaching staff following his disrespect after being substituted in the 2-0 win over Lesotho in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Sunday.

The AC Milan ace, with froth at his mouth, asked head coach Kwesi Appiah why he was replaced by Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu in the 64th minute.

The midfielder refused to sit on the bench and walked straight into the dressing looking extremely furious.

Muntari played a role in Ghana's opener when his free-kick was turned in by defender John Boye.

It will be recalled that Andre Ayew put up a similar incident last year when he was substituted in Ghana's 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Olympique Marseille player refused to shake hands with the bench and used foul language in expressing his dissatisfaction.

He was later fined by the Ghana FA for his unprofessional behaviour.
