Cameroon: Volker Finker new coach (Official)!

It became official on Wednesday from 8:30 p.m. in the Journal of CRTV.

Volker Finker is the new coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

As already reported by Africa Top Sports, the German engineer was chosen after a great deal of negotiation with its French counterpart Raymond Domenech Domenech approach the Indomitable Lions! and Antoine Kanbouaré.

This is the first time that the former coach of FC Cologne will coach a national team. It will serve as interim on the sidelines for a smooth transition and will truly take office after the 4th and 5th days of the 2014 Brazil World Cup playoffs respectively against Togo and DR Congo in June. He will coach until 2014. This contract allows him to have four years of extra option.

This choice was privileged with the firm Puma supplier of the Lions and Fécafoot. This announcement was precipitated by the illness of Jean Paul Akono. The health of the former Cameroonian coach does not improve! But his appointment would not be the panacea for the recovery of the former coach.
