Aduana banned from Agyemang Badu Park

The Nana Agyemang Badu Park, home grounds of Aduana Stars has been closed down by the Ghana Football Association for the rest of the campaign in the Glo Premier League.

A GFA statement read: "The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has ordered the temporary closure of Nana Agyemang Badu Park, at Dormaa Ahenkro with immediate effect following the unfortunate incident which resulted in the physical assault of the Referee by supporters of Aduana FC during the GLO Premier League match between Aduana and Liberty Professionals played on 12th May, 2013.

"The Executive Committee of the GFA took the decision in accordance with Article 15 (2) of the GFA Regulations which states that the GFA may order the closure of any league centre where the safety of Clubs, Match Officials or Spectators cannot be guaranteed.

"The decision is without prejudice to a determination of the case by the Disciplinary Committee.

"Meanwhile the GFA has asked the Premier League Board to determine the venue for the Club's subsequent home matches in accordance with the provision of Article 15 (3) of the Regulations.

"The Disciplinary Committee has been charged to hear the case in accordance with the Regulations of the Association."
