Amidaus professionals have denied reports claiming goalkeeper Eric Antwi had to be excused to attend nature's call in their premier league game against RTU at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday.
There were earlier reports that the referee had to stop the game for about five minutes for goalkeeper Eric Antwi to go to the gents.
But Sherif Mohammed who is operations manager of the Club in an interview with JOY Sports said:
“In the course of play the referee realized his (Antwi) under stretch was white but normally the colours have to be one so he was asked to go and change to wear the same colour as his shorts which was blue”, said Sherif Mohammed
“He did not enter the washroom so reports going round that he went there to ease himself are all false.”
