Aduana are two points ahead of second-placed team, Medeama and Berekum Chelsea, who drop from the top to third position after they lost heavily, 5-1 to Liberty Professionals.
Darkwah scored the winner in the 14th minute at the Agyemang Badu Park to claim all the spoils for the home side.
Tema Youth, sitting in the relegation bracket played with lots of determination but could break through the defence of Aduana.
