Ghanaian officials to handle Asec/Simba match

Accra, Oct 14, GNA - Four Ghanaian referees have been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to handle the CAF Champions League match between Asec Mimosa of Cote D' Ivoire and Simba SC of Tanzania on Sunday, October 19, at the Houphet Boigny Sports Stadium. Referee Alex Quartey is the man to be in the middle and will be assisted by Justice Yeboah and Nicholas Djomoah on lines. Ettiene Mian of Cote D' Ivoire is the fourth referee, with S. Magassouba of Mali as the match commissioner.

In a related development, Mr. Worlanyo K. Agrah, former General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has also been appointed as the match commissioner for the match between Eyimba FC of Nigeria and Ismaila of Egypt on Sunday, October 19 at the Eyimba Stadium in Nigeria.
