Black Satellites Coach Maxwell Konadu says he is eager to enhance his career by qualifying the team for the Africa Youth Championship with victory in the final qualifying round against Morocco.
The Satellites host Morocco on Sunday at the Tamale Stadium in the first leg of the last round of qualifiers ahead.
Things are working for the former Black Stars striker since switching to coaching barely five years ago with success in the premier league as Coach of former club Asante Kotoko last season. He is currently assistant coach to ex team mate Kwasi Appiah in the Black Stars and has been charged to qualify the Satellites for Algeria 2013.
“This is the last qualifier so we need to win convincingly and we are working towards that”, Said Coach Konadu
“We will defend well not to concede a goal here and try to score more goals to make the return leg a mere formality .we just hope everything will go well and I know the guys will make Ghana proud”.
The Black Satellites team which has been preparing in Tamale ahead of Sunday's game beat second division side Tamale Utrecht 3-2 in a trial match played at the Tamale Stadium on Wednesday
