
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Dr. Omane Boamah has given words of motivation for the National Paralympic team in London ahead of their Paralympic engagements on the 29thof August to the 9th of September.
The Honorable Minister visited the team at their camp base and admonished the athletes to Ghana proud. He pledged the Government's full support in all their trials ahead of the Games.
Honorable Boamah also personally motivated the team with an undisclosed amount of money as accountable imprest to enhance their preparations.
Ghana will be engaging the likes of England, Germany, China, and the United States in cracking events in Powerlifting, Wheelchair athletics, and Cycling-Road.
Head coach of team Ghana Shaaban Mohammed was full of praise on behalf of the team and promised the Minister to do their best to raise up high the flag of mother Ghana.
Two time Paralympian and team captain-Botsyo Nkegbe also assured the Minister of their commitment and zeal to win medals for the nation.
