Denu, Sept. 15, GNA - Abedi Pele's Nania Football Club, an Accra-based Second Division side played an exciting game to rout Aflao Royals 3-0 in a friendly match on Sunday at Denu.
Nania translated their superb football skills into goals as Jester Ayer struck twice in the first half and a third by Kwabena Amandou in the second half to send the cheering local fans into hibernation. The fans, disappointed as they were, could not help but gave their hearts to the visiting team in a match in which three other goals by Nania were disallowed by the referee.
The Aflao Royals fans came in their numbers from far and near following a radio announcement that Abedi Ayew Pele, Ghana's soccer ambassador extraordinary was in town with his Nania Boys, but unfortunately, Pele did not turn up.
