Bavaria National Scrabble Championship, Kumasi, 14th -15th July, 2012

The Scrabble Association of Ghana under the auspices of the National Sports Authority in partnership with the Bavaria GH, Atelier Designs, T.U.C hostel and the media houses organised the Bavaria National Scrabble Tournament at the conference centre off the Baba yara sports stadium from 14th to 15th July, 2012.

The tournament is aimed at talent identification, spreading the game of scrabble in all the 10 regions of the country and also to identify the national best.

The tournament is played in 2 division, masters and amateur. About 60 players from all the 10 regions of Ghana are participating.

A total of 17 games Will be played in all with a time control of 20 minutes per player for each game.

The Scrabble Association of Ghana takes this opportunity to express its profound gratitude to Bavaria GH and ATELIER Designs, who showed his benevolence in sponsoring the tournament and also to Mr.Wolanyo Agra and Madam Alice Attipoe, Director General and Deputy Director General(Admin) of the National Sports Authority for his continue support in the development and promotion of mind sports in the country.
