
Christian Atsu scored for FC Porto in a pre-season friendly match.
Ghana star Christian Atsu got his FC Porto pre-season underway in style by scoring in their 7-0 trouncing of lower-tier side Valadares on Saturday at the Olival ground.
The 20-year-old schemer opened the scoring for Vítor Pereira’s side in the 8th minute with a powerful effort after going pass three defenders.
“I like how the pre-season has started for me. I thank God,” Atsu said.
Atsu impressed on his loan stint with Portuguese side Rio Ave last season and has been recalled by Porto.
Former Ghana Under-20 left-back David Addy also featured in the game for Porto.
