Technical Director of the Ghana Cycling Federation (GCF), Shaaban Mohammed is in the Egyptian capital, Cairo upon a scholarship invitation from the Confederation of African Cycling (CAC) for an upgrade in the International Cycling Union (UCI) Level 2 Training Course for Coaches.
CAC President, Mr. Waggih Azzam who was signatory to the invitation was of lots of commendation for the Cycling Federation especially after successfully organizing the 2nd Edition of the Cowbell National Cycling Tour of Ghana.
The course which begins from the June 4th – June 16th will see other top coaches from Africa attending.
Ghana's progress in the sport has seen international recognition and has therefore received the rights in hosting this year's Africa's Commissaire Meeting later this year.
