Louis Agyemang stunned Liberty Professionals when his late goal salvaged a point for Medeama at the Carl Reindorf Park in the Glo Premier League.
After seventeen minutes of the first half, Liberty had raced into a 2-0 lead with Kennedy Ashia opening the scoring in the 3rd minute before Latif Salifu also found the back of the net in the 17th minute.
Medeama pulled a goal back through Kassim Adams in the 32nd minute before the interval.
The visitors returned from the break eager to draw level but they had to wait until the 83rd minute when Agyemang headed in the equaliser.
In other matches, Aduana Stars posted a 1-0 win over Tema Youth at the Agyemang Badu Park.
Striker Daniel Goza scored the match winner in the 77th minute to take Aduana to second on the table for now.
At the Wa Park, AshantiGold shared the spoils with All Stars in a goalless draw game.
