Berekum Chelsea have qualified to the money zone of the CAF Champions League following a crucial 2-1 away win against Cotonsport of Cameroon.
Goals from Abdul Basit and Emmanuel Clottey were enough for the Sunyani based club to book their first ever Champions league money zone.
It will be the first time in six years since a Ghanaian team qualified for the Champions League money zone.
The first leg in Ghana ended goalless two weeks ago with connoisseurs doubting the capability of the Sunyani based club to get a favorable result away from home.
And it was Cotonsport who put their noses in front early in the game to unsettle the Ghana team.
But Hans Van Der Pluym's men responded well with two crucial goals to secure qualification.
