GFA to set up Pension Fund for retired Ghanaian footballers

Accra, May 3, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed a three-man Committee to oversee the process of setting up a pension fund to support retired Ghanaian footballers.

GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi, Randy Abbey and Wilfred Kwaku Osei Parma will form the membership of the Committee to set up the modalities for the setting up of the fund.

The Committee will start its work with immediate effect.

This is part of the GFA's vision to help former footballers who are struggling to make ends meet since retiring from the game.
