The two-time African champions, extended their unbeaten run to 14 matches on 55 points opening a 15-point gap.
Ashgold which was expected to mount a strong challenge to the title and possibly drag the race down the wire lost 1-3 to Liberty at the Dansoman Park to give the Porcupine Warriors an easy win.
Ashgold are now on 41 points while Accra Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars occupy the third and fourth positions respectively on 40 points apiece.
Kotoko, makes a return to Africa next season after a three-year absence. And with the kind of form the Porcupine Warriors have shown in the Glo Premier League,
They could add the FA Cup to their silverwear to make it double this season.
