
The Milo U-13 African Championship hit the end of the road today after impressive group matches yesterday at the El-Wak Stadium.
Ghana began the campaigning with a 5-0 trouncing of South Africa in the opening Group A Game.
Defending champions Nigeria followed suit in the Group B opener, defeating Sierra Leone 3-0, while South Africa triumphed 1-0 over Liberia in the third game of the day.
Ghana booked the semi final place after recording another 5-0 emphatic win over Liberia to set a date with Sierra Leone, while Nigeria thrashed Kenya 6-0 in their second game.
Milo's brands manager Jude Addison expressed satisfaction after the first two games, saying 'I am really impressed about the quality of football demonstrated by these boys.
'The competition has indeed served its purpose of providing a platform to unearth talents which will feed their various national teams in future.
'The tournament has just began, but you will bear with me that a lot of talents have emerged,' he added.
The third place as well as the final games kick off today.
