Accra, Mar. 24, GNA – Visiting Medeama FC beat Tudu Mighty Jets 2-1 in their Week 21 Glo Premier League encounter on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Tarkwa-based Club came from behind to beat the hosts to boost their standings on the League log.

For Mighty Jets, the result added to their poor outing since the commencement of the second half of the season as they remain without a win.

Languishing in the relegation zone, Mighty Jets got off well making clear their intent to carry the day with Sidi Abubakar and Mubarak Sinare leading raids into the visitor's goal area.

But they had to wait till a minute from the end of the first half before top scorer Abubakar scored to give the Tudu based team a 1-0 lead.

Medeama resumed the second half a better side for Kwabena Adusei to restore parity on 66 minutes with a superb strike.

The game remained balanced and appeared heading for a stalemate before Hans Kwofie notched home the winner a minute from time as beat his narker including the Mighty Jets keeper to easily slot in the match winner to the surprise of the scanty fans at the stadium.

Medeama thus move to the ninth position with 28 points whilst Mighty Jets with six points less occupy the
