Winneba, July 28, GNA--Visiting Fauzan F/C started this year's Division One League on a bright note when they defeated Winneba Feyenoord 1-0 in their opening "Zone 2B" match played at Winneba on Sunday.
Inside left Mark Adu Kwame scored the only goal of the match in the ninth minute.
Feyenoord threw everything into the game but the defence of Fauzan proved too stubborn for the homesters.
At Sekondi, Sarmatex FC drew 2-2 with Eleven Wise, while Cape Coast Vipers also held Ebusua Dwarfs to a 1-1 drawn game.
