Announcing Keynote Speaker Irvin Khoza at Confex ‘12

We are delighted to announce that Dr Irivin Khoza will be a featured keynote speaker at African Football Executive Confex taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa in April this year. Dr Khoza is Chairman of Premier Soccer League (PSL) in South Africa and the Chairman of Orlando Pirates Football Club. As the chairperson of the PSL, he was instrumental in securing sponsors of the league such as the ABSA Group Limited.

He was also the chairperson of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Local Organising Committee South Africa from 2004 to 2010, which was tasked with, among other things, to ensure that South Africa adhered to the promises made to FIFA with regard to hosting a successful 2010 FIFA World Cup. He served as the chairperson of South Africa's 2010 FIFA World Cup bid team, which secured the right to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Dr Khoza will be delivering a presentation on the topic: A VIEW FROM THE TOP - FOOTBALL ADMINISTRATION AND GOVERNANCE IN AFRICA.

He joins our distinguished panel of speakers at Africa's premier football business conference including Dr Molefi Nathaniel Oliphant, Vice President of CAF, Dr Danny Jordaan, CEO, FIFA World Cup 2010 LOC, Francesco Bruscoli, FIFA Africa Development Programmes, Dr Robin Petersen, President, SAFA, Garth Hewitt, MTN, Nicholas Musonye, Secretary General of CECAFA, Jerome Champagne, Former FIFA Director of International Affairs, Steve Bellis, Kick Worldwide and Joop Lensen of the Royal Dutch Football Federation.
