Black Maidens push for world spot

Ghana's women's U-17 team on Tuesday arrived in Cameroon for the first leg qualifying of the women's U-17 World Cup.

The Black Maidens play Cameroon in the first leg clash on Saturday as Ghana chases a third successive appearance on the world stage.

Coach Mas-aud Didi Dramani's side are pushing for one the three slots available to the continent for the World Cup in Azerbaijan later in September 2012.

The return leg will be in Accra on February 5, 2012.
