Molefi Nathaniel Oliphant to deliver Keynote Address at African Football Executive Confex 2012

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM—16/01/2012 – Dr. Molefi Nathaniel Oliphant, Honorary Life President, SOUTH AFRICAN FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION and Vice President & Executive Member, Confederation of African Football (CAF) has been announced as a keynote speaker at the upcoming African Football Executive Confex 2012. The premier African football business conference and networking Expo is set to take place on 18th – 20th April 2012 at the Wanderers Club, Illovo, Johannesburg.

Dr. Oliphant will be bringing his unique approach to the conference and is Honorary Life President of SAFA and vice-president and executive member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). He has held various positions in local and international football structures, including the National Olympic Committee of South Africa, Council for Southern African Football Association executive member, FIFA and CAF match commissioner, FIFA Appeal Board member, member of the World Cup Organising Committee South Africa and Deputy Head of Delegation for both the Germany and South Africa FIFA world cups. He is renowned for his excellent contribution to the development of soccer in Africa and his participation in ensuring that South Africa won the bid to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and held a successful tournament. He will be addressing the topic: Leadership in African Football: a Key Ingredient for Attaining Success on and off the Football Pitch.
