Eastern Region Football Association goes to Congress

Koforidua, July 9, GNA-This year's Eastern Regional Football Association (RFA) Congress comes off on Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Koforidua.

According to a release from the RFA Secretariat, as a departure from previous congresses, this year's would see the participation of all organisations and institutions engaged in the promotion of football in the region.

The Congress is expected to discuss issues including registration, organisation, date for the commencement of the regional second division league and the development of football in the region in general.

Among the participants of the Congress are representatives of Division One Clubs , Division Two Clubs, three representatives of Third Division Clubs, representatives of District Football Associations and a representative of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) from Accra.

Others include representatives of the Regional Referees Association, Regional Match Commissioners Association, Regional Women's Soccer Association and the Regional Juvenile Football Association.
