Emmanuel Baffour's double helped New Edubiase beat Aduana Stars 2-1 as the striker's fine scoring form continued in the league.

The 22-year-old striker scored in each half at the Gyamfi Park to take his tally to 11 this season in eleven games.

Baffour opened the scoring for Edubiase after 27 minutes to enter the break 1-0 up.

But the visitors were back on level terms in the 64th minute when Samuel Asiedu scored the equaliser.

Twelve minutes after the equaliser, Baffour scored again to hand Edubiase all three points.

At the Sekondi Stadium, Wassaman handed Liberty Professionals a shocking 2-0 defeat but still find themselves rooted at the bottom of the standings.

It was only the win in 11 matches for the premiership debutants.

Liberty were undone by two goals in either half of the game courtesy Abubakar Mahadi's opener in the 40th minute and Ekow Ghansah's 70th minute winner.

At the Robert Mensah stadium in cape Coast, Ebusua Dwarfs would cherish a point picked at home after Wa All Stars failed to take advantage of their superiority in their 1-1 draw match.

The visitors fought back from a goal down after Seidu Bancey put Dwarfs ahead on the 24th minute, and from there it looked like Prof. Mintah's charges were heading to a home win until All Stars drew level 14 minutes later through Frank Sarfo Gyamfi.

The rest of the game belonged to the visitors who failed to punish a Dwarfs side struggling for pace.

Despite the draw, All Stars are third and a point off the summit with Asante Kotoko, having a game in hand.
