The officials gave words of encouragement and assured them of their full support ahead of the championship.
Ghana will be seeking to accrue precious points which will be a factor in our qualification berth to the London 2012 Paralympics.
UCI Belgian classifier, Didier Simons has already began the classification process which draws the various athletes into their rightful categories.
South Africa, Burkina, Albania have cemented their participation and would be in the country on Thursday 8th Decemeber 2011. The Kenyans announced their last minute withdrawal from the championships stating reasons above their reach.
The event will be centered on the Nima – Kanda Highway, specifically a circuit through Rugga roundabout (before Kawukudi junction) through the Nima highway to the Ridge –Electoral Commission roundabout and back to the starting point around the Czech Embassy.
Meanwhile, the entire stretch of road will be closed during the event on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of December, 2011.
The GCF wants to use the opportunity to congratulate the MTTU, Ghana Police Service for their preparedness in this regard.
