Yeboah shocked at Speed's passing

Tony Yeboah has been shocked following the death of former team-mate and Gary Speed.

The Ex-Ghana striker, who played alongside Speed, 42, at Leeds United says the former Wales manager's passing came as a shock to him.

Speed's body was found at his family home in Huntington, Chester on Sunday morning with sources confirming the body was found hanged.

Yeboah in an interview with Joy FM, local radio station, described his former teammate as '”responsible and a family man.”

“I could not believe it. He is very calm and didn't have any problem,” Yeboah said.

Yeboah said his last interaction with Speed was two weeks ago.

“The last time I spoke to him was two weeks ago when I was in London. He's a family man and very responsible so this came as a shock.”
