Chelsea sanctioned for breaches

Berekum Chelsea has been fined by the Ghana Football Association for incidents before kick-off at a premier league game against Hearts of Oak.

Players of Chelsea did not follow the officiating officials to the pitch, instead they broke away and took a different direction before joining the officials and the home team at the centre circle in their game at the Accra Sports Stadium on 23 October.

"The behaviour of your team has attracted a fine of Seven Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 750.00) which should be paid in accordance with Article 39 (8) (b) of the Regulations," an FA statement read.
