Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic believes his squad has been made stronger with the presence of midfielder Michael Essien in camp.
The Chelsea ace joined the Black Stars for training on Monday ahead of their matches against Congo Brazzaville in a 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifier and South Korea for an international friendly.
The Serbian, who has been on the heels of the 'Bison' ever since he assumed office in February, is pleased the 28-year-old has honoured his word to return to national duty when he first met him in London.
"When I took this job I made his return a priority and he promised he will return in June which is what he has done,” Plavi told the Ghana FA website. “He is a great player and a great man and we are happy to have him back."
The midfield maestro has been on a long sabbatical from the international scene as a result of two severe injuries he sustained in the Black Stars shirt. After an 16-month hiatus he is back with the four-time African champions.
