GHANA INTERNATIONAL Daniel Addo will be playing in top flight football in Israel next soccer season, as his team Hapoel Pecta Tikva beat the relegation scare which had stared them in the face all season.
The Ghana stopper's team confirmed their stay in the Israeli league on the last day of competition when they pipped Hapeol Fasarba who were seeking entry into the league 5-1 on aggregate in a two-way tie.
The emphatic win ensured Hapeol Pecta Tikva maintained their stay in top flight football next season.
Reports reaching DAILY GUIDE SPORTS indicate that Addo, a former player of Kessben FC, is in cloud nine following the development.
Addo, who is coming to Ghana this week to cool off, has promised to play his heart out so his club would compete for the league trophy next season.
Meanwhile, two Ghanaian players in Israel would not play at top level football next season if they decide not to change clubs.
The two unfortunate players are Eric Gawu and Stephen Ahorlu of Hapeol Ashkalon.
Hapeol Ashkalon got booted out of the Israeli league when Daniel Addo's Hapeol Pecta Tikva beat them 3-1 on the last day of competition.
It is so far not known if Gawu and Ahorlu would stay with their club in the lower divisions or switch camp.
