Anthony Annan has joined Bundesliga side Schalke from Rosenborg for 2 million euros.
The Ghanaian midfielder completed the move after passing his medical at Schalke.
Annan, 24, has been drafted in by the German side as a replacement for Ivan Rakitic who joined Sevilla on Friday.
The midfielder won the Norwegian league title with IK Start in 2007 before he joined Rosenborg where he has continually impressed.
