Muntari's Sunderland switch still on
Sulley Muntari could still end up a Sunderland player after reports that the English Premier League side are close to tying up a deal for him.
The Ghana midfielder was reportedly not keen on a move to England unless he was moving to a club in London.
But reports today say the move is still on and that Muntari is open to the idea of joining compatriots Asamoah Gyan and John Mensah at the club.
Sunderland are confident the deal will happen by the end of the month which would take Muntari back to England for his second stint in the Premiership after he played for Portsmouth in the 2007-2008 season.
He has struggled for first team at Inter Milan recently and could resurrect his ailing international career with a move to the Black Cats and regular playing time.
