December 14, 2010 Accra, Dec. 14, GNA - Mr Zafer Caglayan, Turkish State Minister of Foreign Trade on Tuesday called on entrepreneurs in Ghana and Turkey to collaborate to survive in the global economy.

Addressing a press conference in Accra, Mr Caglayan commended Ghana for the efficient and effective management of her natural resources for socio-economic development.

In efforts to explore investment potentials in Ghana, Mr Caglayan said, "Turkish entrepreneurs especially owners of small and medium scale businesses, need to share their skills, and experiences with their Ghanaian counterparts for the mutual benefits of both countries".

Mr Caglayan pointed out that world economy had shifted to developing countries and partnership with Ghanaian entrepreneurs would facilitate Turkish investment in Africa.

He said the major sectors were education, health, agriculture and transportation and urged Ghanaian entrepreneurs to take Turkey's proximity to Europe and her population into consideration for such partnership.
