......Upon Fovourite's request The Ghana Football Association has postponed the interview for the selection of a Black Stars coach. The interview, which was scheduled to have started today, would now take place after February 6. G. F. A general secretary Koki Nsiah told JOY NEWS that the postponement has been necessitated because of the need for the FA to look more into the past of the four coaches short-listed very well. He said though the FA has received reports on all the four coaches short listed for the job, they still deem it necessary to do more checks on their backgrounds. But JOY NEWS gathers from highly placed sources that the postponement became necessary after the Portuguese Manuel Gomes informed the FA he would be unavailable for the interview until after February 6. Gomes who is up against Ghanaians E.K Afranie, Abdul Razak and German Burkhard Ziese is favourite to become Black Stars coach because of his strong connections to the Stars' official kit sponsors L-Sporto. Analysts say the postponement of the interview to suit the Portuguese confirms the widely held belief that he is the man the GFA want as Stars coach.
