Afranie is to be elevated to the position of Coach Proper. “I have directed the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to give coach E.K. Afranie a contract as the substantive coach.” Speaking exclusively to the paper in his office in Accra, the Minister said Ghana has had eventful periods with foreign coaches; therefore, we are going with a local coach.
