Cape Coast, April 12, GNA - Oguaa United played a yeoman's game to beat Adisadel Great Astronomers 1-0 in their Division Two League match played at the Robert Mensah stadium, Cape Coast on Saturday.
After a goalless first half, the two teams resumed from recess strongly but it was Oguaa United who had the edge in attack in the dying minutes of the game as they managed to score the match winner in the 85th minute through John Titus.
Astronomers made several attempts to level up the score but try as they did they could not find the net until full time.
Results of other League matches were Assin North F/C beat Jukwa Surowi 2-0, Elmina Sharks pipped Mankessim Trinity Professionals 1-0, Abonko Quite Storm lost 0-1 to Adansi Praso WAECO with Dunkwa United drawing goalless with Cape Coast Be Just F/C.
