Massive TV show on Ghanaian players abroad to hit screens

A ground-breaking television show on how Ghanaian players live their lives abroad is expected to air in the country before the World Cup.

The breathtaking show called 'Footballers Lives' goes into the private homes of the players as they live abroad mostly in Europe.

The exclusive personal acccess to the top players means viewers of the show will get to see what the players eat, wear and how live with their families.

The 30-minute documentary on each player also gains unprecedented access to the facilities at their clubs including the dressing rooms, stadiums and other exlcusive club events as well as how they prepare for matches.

The players also reveal what music they listen to and how they connect with Ghana when they are in Europe and how they entertain themselves.

Another section of the programme makes time for exclusive personal interviews with the players to answer burning questions on their club careers and national team careers.

The intial show features exclusive trips to John Mensah's house and club Sunderland in England while striker Razak Pimpong also takes his turn at his Danish side Viborg and also goes home to expose the comic family starring his 2-year-old son Malik!

Another comical exposure was with the Laryea Kingston family in Scotland where his kids poked fun at him and he revealed some exclusive Black Stars secrets.

Young defender David Addy's time in Denmark with Randers will be unveiled while for the first time defender Issa Ahmed's life in Denmark is seen on TV in Africa.

Future shows will visit Ghana captain Stephen Appiah, Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari as they live with their clubs in Europe.

Further shows are being planned with the Eric Addo, Matthew Amoah, Kwadwo Asamoah and Agyemang Badu and Samuel Inkoom.

The Ayew family of Dede, Rahim and Jordan as well as Eric Bekoe, the flashy Kevin Boateng, Hamuni Dramani, Junior Agogo Prince Tagoe, Isaac Vorsah and Derek Boateng will also take their turns.

There are plans to cover all the Ghanaian players plying their trade abroad in future including trips to India, Israel, and all the obscure countries Ghanaian players travel to ply their trade..

The show is produced in the UK by the best African ethnic football media production company LogikMedia along with two of African's best football journalists.
