Tema, Feb. 27, GNA - John Van Aalst returned a net score of 67 to win the Celebrity Coca Cola Monthly Medal Open Golf Championship played at Sakumono, near Tema on Saturday.
The second position was taken by Jonathan Molapo with 64 net, S. K. Afari placed third with 66 net while Akwasi Opoku placed fourth with 68 net.
Helen Appiah came first with 67 net in the Ladies segment followed by Brigette Harrington at the second position with 70 net while Grace Amoah followed in the third position with 73 net.
This year's Monthly Medal competitions of the Club are sponsored by Coca Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited.
The next Medal competition would be played on Saturday, March 27 at the same venue.
About 100 golfers are expected to participate in the competition which would be played with full Handicaps.
